NAVIGATING MCO AIRPORT

If you're planning a trip to Orlando, chances are you'll be flying into the Orlando International Airport (MCO). With over 50 million passengers passing through each year, navigating the airport can be overwhelming. Here are some tips to help you navigate MCO like a pro.

Before You Arrive

Before you even leave for the airport, make sure you have your travel documents in order. This includes your boarding pass, ID, and any other necessary documents for your trip. You can also save time by checking in online and printing your boarding pass at home. If you have any questions or concerns, be sure to check the airport's website or contact their customer service department.

Getting to and from MCO

Once you arrive at MCO, you'll have several options for getting to your final destination. If you're renting a car, you'll find several car rental companies located on the first floor of the terminal. If you're taking a taxi or ride-sharing service, you can pick up your ride on Level 2 of the terminal. If you're taking public transportation, the airport is served by several bus and shuttle services.

Navigating the Terminal

MCO has one main terminal building with four airsides (A, B, C, and D). Each airside has its own security checkpoint, so be sure to check your boarding pass to see which airside you'll be departing from. Once you pass through security, you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and lounges to keep you busy before your flight. You can also use the airport's free Wi-Fi to stay connected.

Final Tips

To make your experience at MCO as smooth as possible, here are a few final tips. First, arrive early. The airport recommends arriving at least two hours before your flight for domestic travel and three hours for international travel. This will give you plenty of time to check in, go through security, and get to your gate. Second, pack smart. Be sure to follow the TSA's guidelines for liquids, gels, and other items in your carry-on luggage. Finally, stay organized. Keep your travel documents, ID, and boarding pass in an easily accessible place, so you can quickly present them when needed.

With these tips in mind, navigating MCO airport will be a breeze. Happy travels!
